This Privacy Policy describes how Evirtux Inc. ("we", "us") handles information when you use the 1Chat AI browser extension and related services.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your WhatsApp messages or chat content
• Your contacts or phone numbers
• Your AI API keys
• Your browsing history
• Your credit card or payment details (handled by Stripe)

2. Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored only in your browser's local storage and never sent to our servers:

• AI provider API keys you enter
• Language preferences and settings
• Translation cache (for performance)

3. Data We Collect

We only collect minimal data necessary for license activation:

• License key activation status
• Device identifier (hardware ID for activation)
• Email address (only if provided during purchase via Stripe)

4. Third-Party Services

When you use 1Chat AI features, data may be sent to third parties based on your configuration:

• Google Translate — message text for translation (free feature)
• AI Providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, DeepSeek) — message context for AI replies, sent directly from your browser using your own API key
• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy

All API calls to AI providers go directly from your browser to the provider's servers. We do not proxy, intercept, or store these requests.

5. Permissions

The extension requires the following browser permissions:

• activeTab — to interact with WhatsApp Web page content
• storage — to save your preferences locally
• host_permissions — to access WhatsApp Web, AI APIs, and our license server

6. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all communications with our license server. Your API keys are stored in Chrome's local storage, which is sandboxed per-extension and inaccessible to other extensions or websites.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
